The ability to connect with others when talking, playing, and hanging out with others.
Wearing masks and social distancing has made it a challenge for kids to properly connect with each other.
Even when they are in a setting where they don’t have to wear masks or socially distance, they are still more disconnected than before.
With that said, teaching children the skill of COMMUNICATION will help them connect better.
Here is a guideline on ways children can learn to communicate:
~Teach them how to make eye contact.
~Teach them how to use good body language such as sitting and standing straight.
~Teach them how to have good sportsmanship such as congratulating the winners, not complaining when they lose, and not bragging when they win.
There are many ways that you can teach children COMMUNICATION and by doing so, you can help them improve the level of connection they have with others.
These lessons will help them even when wearing masks and social distancing from others.
